Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile phlebotomy and multi-biospecimen collections including blood, urine, saliva, and stool
• Collect patient medical history and vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse
• Process samples using centrifuges, aliquoting blood components into cryovials
• Package and ship biospecimens following IATA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
• Manage on-site inventory of supplies and equipment
• Maintain professional and compassionate communication with patients and clinical staff

Requirements

• At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• Certified Phlebotomy Technologist or Phlebotomy Technician Certificate (CPT or PTC)
• Valid driver's license and an insured, reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel to locations within a 150-mile radius
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Proficiency with mobile technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric or geriatric phlebotomy experience
• Experience supporting clinical trials
• EKG experience
• Experience with centrifuges and pipetting
