About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transport according to regulatory standards
  • Conduct clinical screenings including electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema screenings
  • Comply with all laboratory safety and handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and manage clinical supply inventory
  • Collaborate with the clinical coordination team to submit visit-related paperwork accurately
  • Identify and report adverse events or medical product complaints in accordance with guidance
  • Maintain accurate mileage and time logs for reimbursement

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings
  • Valid driver's license and ability to undergo a driving record review
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds to transport medical or diagnostic equipment
  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles to conduct patient visits
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and maintaining proper documentation
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of EKG experience
  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
  • State-issued CMA or CPT license (required if located in Washington or Louisiana)
