Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate preventive and general maintenance of mobile mining equipment
• Develop and implement strategic plans for mobile equipment preventive maintenance
• Establish work methods to meet execution schedules and coordinate with other departments
• Evaluate cost reduction opportunities and optimize resource allocation
• Supervise maintenance personnel and promote effective use of work cards
• Lead and participate in health and safety meetings and investigations
• Monitor work quality and report issues affecting equipment availability
• Order necessary materials for maintenance activities

Requirements

• DEP in heavy machinery mechanics or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, including supervision in underground mines
• Valid general explosives permit
• Mandatory mining worker modular training (modules 1-2-3-4-5 and 7)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Strong knowledge of underground mining equipment mechanics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
