Mobile Manual QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases across iOS and Android for new app releases, firmware updates, and platform changes
• Grow and maintain regression testing as Fi expands support for new devices and hardware configurations
• Test firmware builds against real-world device scenarios and document findings clearly
• Act as a liaison between QA, engineering, and product by communicating bugs, blockers, and test findings
• File clear, reproducible bug reports to assist engineers in resolution
• Identify and cover testing gaps where automation has not yet reached

Requirements

• 2+ years of manual QA experience, ideally in a consumer hardware or IoT environment
• Power-user level comfort navigating both iOS and Android platforms
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum workflows, including standups and sprint planning
• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for defect tracking and ticket management
• Strong written communication skills for creating bug reports and test documentation

• Experience testing against firmware or embedded software releases
