Mobile Intake Staff

Responsibilities

• Travel to various towns and community locations on a set schedule to provide Fuel Assistance (FAP) and Electric Assistance (EAP) intake services.
• Conduct participant interviews and intake appointments in person or via telephone to verify eligibility.
• Process FAP and EAP applications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Explain available Community Action programs and eligibility requirements to participants.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local welfare offices and community partners.
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of the food pantry at the Franklin Area Resource Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency credential.
• One year of prior office or customer service experience.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher.
