Mobile Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy industrial equipment including Front-End Loaders, clamp forks, and CAT track loaders
• Unload log trucks and load logs into production equipment and log storage areas
• Understand mix targets when feeding various types of fiber into the process
• Inspect equipment and report unsafe or improperly operating conditions
• Monitor and adjust wood yard control room parameters for safety, quality, and productivity
• Perform daily checks and basic maintenance such as blowing, washing, and greasing
• Maintain proper paperwork and perform daily housekeeping duties

Requirements

• Internal company certification
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions
• Proficiency in mathematics and measurement

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous heavy industrial equipment experience, driving license, or certification
