Mobile Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a squad of developers and QA engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance management
• Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the mobile product area
• Establish and uphold technical standards, system design principles, and best practices through code reviews
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers and Designers to shape solutions and validate technical feasibility
• Drive delivery excellence through agile leadership, removing blockers, and tracking team velocity and quality metrics
• Provide strategic technical support through selective hands-on coding and advanced debugging for complex issues

Requirements

• Proven experience in React Native app development and leading developers and QA/QE/SDET teams
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript
• Working knowledge of backend technologies including Node.js, APIs, and databases
• Experience with commerce platforms, specifically Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Understanding of testing strategies and the ability to ensure robust test coverage
• Experience managing eCommerce-specific challenges such as catalogs, search, cart, and checkout flows
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
