MoneyLion is a leader in financial technology, providing a consumer finance super app and an embedded finance platform to help users make their best financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work with a cross-functional team to plan and develop new features for the MoneyLion mobile app
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Support QA team on testing and debugging
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and suggest tools to improve development and quality
• Identify high-level architectural problems and design solutions
• Coach junior engineers
• Align business goals with technical priorities and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Proven experience building Mobile applications (native, React Native, or hybrid)
• Experience with NodeJS applications (server-side)
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Swift
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience with agile methodologies
• BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a tech lead
• Familiarity with Functional Programming
