Mobile Engineer

Giga is a Voice AI startup that recently raised a $61M Series A. We work with Fortune 500 customers like DoorDash to deploy real-time AI agents that understand emotion and resolve issues instantly across voice, chat, and email.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of native iOS and Android SDKs
• Make core architectural tradeoffs to embed voice and chat agents into customer apps
• Own deep OS integrations including voice routing, background execution, and app extensions
• Drive UI and performance excellence, focusing on motion, gesture handling, and accessibility
• Collaborate with design and web frontend teams to identify and build next-generation mobile experiences

Requirements

• 8+ years of native iOS (Swift) engineering experience
• Proven track record of shipping complex apps or SDKs at scale
• Strong expertise in clean SDK and API design
• Deep understanding of iOS platform-native capabilities
• Ability to turn vague product requirements into fluid mobile experiences
• High UX sensitivity regarding motion, gesture ergonomics, and accessibility
• Willingness to be hands-on and occasionally cross the stack (GraphQL, Go) to unblock flows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin (Android)
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, or Node.js
