Mobile Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium for Android and iOS
• Build scalable test scripts for functional, regression, and smoke testing
• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product owners to improve product quality
• Execute API testing and validate backend integrations
• Perform root-cause analysis for test failures

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mobile automation
• Proficiency in Appium (Android & iOS)
• Strong knowledge of Java or Python (Java preferred)
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Git, GitHub, or GitLab
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• REST API testing using Postman or RestAssured
• Basics of Android Studio or Xcode
• Mobile debugging tools like ADB and Appium Inspector
• Knowledge of BDD using Cucumber
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter
