Mobile Application Tester (Manual & Automation)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications across different platforms and devices
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the bug lifecycle
• Develop and execute automation test scripts for mobile applications
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups and sprint planning
• Work closely with developers and QA team members to ensure product quality
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing
• Maintain testing documentation and generate test reports

Requirements

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Bug/Defect Life Cycle
• Proficiency in Manual Testing techniques including Functional, Regression, and Smoke testing
• Hands-on knowledge of Python or Java
• Experience with Appium and Android Studio
• Ability to perform API testing using Postman
• Familiarity with MySQL and Git/GitHub
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Engineering streams

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD implementation and integration with test automation
• Exposure to automation frameworks
• Experience with Espresso or XCUITest
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
