MMF - Mécanicien de Machine Fixe class 2B/2A – Opérateur Centrale

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pressure vessels, steam boilers, chillers, air compressors, and related equipment in accordance with provincial laws.
• Monitor systems controlled by the Building Management System (BMS) to maintain optimal production conditions.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on thermal plant systems, including steam, condensate, compressed air, ventilation, and purified water.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), corporate policies, and health and safety (SST) regulations.
• Actively participate in site maintenance and improvement through optimal thermal plant operation.

Requirements

• DES (Diploma of Secondary Studies) or equivalent.
• Valid MMF (Mechanic of Fixed Machines) certificate recognized by the ministry.
• Possession of an MMF 2B or 2A license.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC and other utility systems.
• Ability to perform analysis on Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Fluency in French is required for effective communication and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Siemens Desigo systems.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work independently.
