MLOps Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Customize AI agent training configurations and tailor agent-based simulation backends for military wargaming
• Define analytical problems and code agent behavior and decision-making logic
• Configure agent backends and evaluate agent outputs
• Identify shortcomings in domain-specific languages or agent architecture
• Translate customer needs into product requirements, bug reports, and feature requests
• Communicate complex agent behaviors and DSL logic to non-developer military users

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience in artificial intelligence with a focus on AI agent reinforcement learning and agent-based simulation
• Proficiency in configuring agent roles, goals, behaviors, and decision logic
• Experience with deployment engineering, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-deployment (AWS GovCloud)
• Ability to read, write, and customize specialized configuration grammars or DSLs
• Experience working with customers to define analytical questions and experimental designs
• Active or eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in artificial intelligence and agent-based simulation
• Proficiency in Python, YAML/JSON, SQL, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with LLM-enabled agents, symbolic AI, and cognitive architectures
• Knowledge of military analysis, campaign analysis, or operational planning
• Familiarity with AI risk management and model evaluation
