ML Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Enable support for different data types in hipblaslt/tensilelite
• Create test cases to validate functionality and performance
• Monitor and maintain end-to-end ML test cases for compiler in production and troubleshoot issues
• Contribute code changes to open source projects
• Influence the direction of the AMD AI platform
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various groups and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Understanding of GPU/CPU communication
• Experience with Git and open-source code version control

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Advanced programming skills including debugging, profiling, and performance analysis
• Experience with HIP programming and CPU/GPU communication
• Familiarity with ML pipelines and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
