ML Researcher - Evaluations

Responsibilities

• Develop Signal-Driven Evals by designing and implementing rigorous evaluation frameworks
• Own the Evaluation Infrastructure by building and maintaining internal Python pipelines and datasets
• Explore External Benchmarks to scout and evaluate models against public tabular data benchmarks
• Maintain Competitive Baselines by monitoring external foundation models and classical ML baselines
• Manage the Internal Leaderboard to report model performance and characterization to the research team

Requirements

• Proven experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or AI Engineering
• Strong focus on model evaluation, testing, or benchmarking
• Strong programming skills in Python and pandas
• Solid understanding of traditional ML metrics and foundation model evaluation
• Experience building automated testing pipelines or evaluation harnesses
• Ability to translate real-world problems into quantifiable metrics
• Excellent internal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tabular data or time series forecasting
