ML Research Engineer Intern/Graduate

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Applied ML solutions from framing through to experimentation and production rollout
• Assist in creating gold datasets and metrics to evaluate real-world performance
• Work with modelling, ranking, classification, retrieval, and heuristic methods
• Build production-ready ML with a focus on latency, scale, and reliability
• Partner with product and engineering teams to connect ML work to real outcomes
• Maintain reproducible experiments and clear documentation

Requirements

• Studying or recently studied Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or Engineering
• Solid grounding in algorithms and data structures
• Practical experience with ML or coding through projects, research, or internships
• Engineering mindset with clean code practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback
• Curiosity regarding evaluation and measurement of model performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to search, ranking, or retrieval
• Experience with graph-based approaches or LLMs
• Experience working with messy, real-world datasets
