ML Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-cloud solutions to increase availability and scalability of high-performance GPU resources
• Optimize distributed training jobs (PyTorch/DDP) by resolving system-level bottlenecks in I/O, memory, and network
• Design and develop Agentic AI tools to automate ML workflows and enhance developer productivity
• Scale core ML infrastructure and Cloud Development Environment (CDE) platforms using Kubernetes
• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to bridge infrastructure and model development
• Mentor junior engineers and champion engineering excellence through code reviews and system design

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with distributed systems
• Expertise in Python, Go, or C++
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and Kubernetes orchestration
• Understanding of the various stages of the ML development lifecycle
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ML model profiling and performance optimization for distributed training
• Experience managing high-performance compute resources (GPUs)
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or Ray
• Experience building Agentic AI systems or LLM-driven developer tools
