ML Perception Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Train, modify, and create beyond-SOTA algorithms for constructing powerful world representations for perception, world modeling, and ML driven autonomy
• Test and evaluate algorithms on real vehicles to ensure improvements to driving abilities
• Work closely with data, behavior, and research teams to develop advanced autonomy software for production deployment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building software components or systems for real-world perception challenges
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
• Experience building machine learning models from data collection to production and deployment
• Deep understanding of the concepts and methods behind used frameworks or libraries

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in perception or a closely related field
• Experience working in modern ML-based perception for autonomous systems
• Deep knowledge of computer vision trends including perception, reconstruction, diffusion, world models, and pre-training vision models
