ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate computer vision and 3D ML models for extracting CAD-grade geometry and features from dense LiDAR and imagery
• Drive ML research that translates directly into product capabilities through prototyping and experimentation
• Own models through the full product lifecycle from problem framing to integration into cloud-based CAD software
• Develop evaluation methodology and metrics reflecting real surveying and engineering accuracy requirements
• Collaborate with ML infrastructure and product teams to scale training and align model behavior with user needs

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong foundation in computer vision and deep learning with experience in segmentation, detection, or 3D understanding
• Proven experience taking ML models from research prototype to production
• Working knowledge of geometric concepts like coordinate systems and 3D transforms
• Proficiency in Python and production-quality ML libraries such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D deep learning architectures like PTv3, sparse convolutions, or 3D detection networks
• Experience handling large unstructured datasets of imagery and 3D point clouds at scale
• Experience with model optimization techniques like quantization, pruning, or TensorRT
• Familiarity with multi-GPU training and experiment management tools like Weights & Biases
• Publications or strong open-source contributions in computer vision or 3D machine learning
