ML/AI Integration and Enablement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and integrate ML, AI, and software tools to automate and optimize the R&D pipeline.
• Identify opportunities within the science domain where ML, AI, and data systems can enhance scientific outcomes.
• Serve as a technical bridge between scientific research groups and technical specialists to translate complex needs into scalable solutions.
• Promote AI fluency and data-driven decision-making across the company through technical mentorship and tool deployment.
• Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and automated data pipelines for scientific applications.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in ML/AI software development, preferably in a biotech or life sciences environment.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for developing scalable software.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps/deployment environments.
• Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and computational biology data formats (e.g., FASTA/FASTQ, BLAST, RNA-Seq).
• Strong understanding of data structures, software architecture, and algorithmic optimization.
• Proven track record of leading interdisciplinary projects and communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
