Mixing Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mixing equipment to produce material according to customer specifications
• Prepare the correct amount of raw material to meet workload requirements
• Monitor various equipment including computer control systems, scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists
• Inspect materials for defects, inconsistencies, or contamination
• Ensure all batch tickets correspond correctly with order specifications
• Complete required documentation, including downtime sheets and 5S checklists
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support sustainability initiatives

Requirements

• Ability to comply with all existing safety standards
• Strong color differentiation skills
• Proven problem-solving skills and organizational abilities
• Ability to lift, push, and bend objects weighing up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis
• Ability to stand and walk constantly (greater than 80% of the workday)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate controlled production environment
• Willingness to become tow-motor certified

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience with industrial equipment operation
