Mixer Truck Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the mixer truck in optimal condition to deliver ready-mix concrete to specified locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and checklists to ensure operational safety.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the unit, both interior and exterior.
• Verify that delivery documentation matches the product loaded onto the unit.
• Ensure the concrete drum is empty and rotating correctly during loading and unloading.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety procedures to prevent accidents.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients sign delivery receipts.
• Manage waste disposal and use resources like water and fuel efficiently.

Requirements

• Primary school education.
• At least 6 months of experience as a mixer truck operator or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations.
• Familiarity with the local geographic area for efficient routing.
• Ability to follow strict safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
