Mixer Operator

Responsibilities

• Feed materials into machines by adding hand-measured or pre-measured ingredients according to specific batch requirements.
• Operate and monitor mid-cycle machines, performing basic adjustments to ensure product specifications are met.
• Execute planned raw material cuts in a timely manner.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards through manual and computerized tracking of production quantities and goods movement.
• Use electric and manual tools for preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Collect product samples and use computer systems to enter and record necessary data.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or floor sweepers.
• Manage the cleanliness and order of the mixing area and surrounding spaces.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mixing processes.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to lift up to 25kg.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, and twisting.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or various shifts with prior notice.
• Ability to work in various environments involving noise, dust, chemicals, heat, or cold.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification for operating forklifts and/or DC3.
• Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Previous experience with inventory systems.
• Availability to work in elevated spaces (1.2 meters or higher).
