Mitigation Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of properties affected by water, fire, or mold damage
• Execute water damage restoration processes to restore properties to their original condition
• Perform fire restoration tasks, including cleaning soot and smoke damage
• Carry out mold remediation procedures to ensure safe living environments
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various cleaning and restoration tasks
• Engage in carpet cleaning services as part of the restoration process
• Follow safety protocols during asbestos abatement projects when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to company standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in water damage restoration, fire restoration, or mold remediation preferred
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the restoration industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in carpet cleaning
• Knowledge of safety practices related to asbestos abatement
