Mitigation Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage from fire, water, mold, and weather
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation services following IICRC standards
• Remove and dispose of damaged building materials safely
• Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize affected interior spaces
• Document job progress using photos and detailed notes via industry software
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Operate, clean, and store tools and equipment
• Follow warehouse and vehicle protocols

Requirements

• Willingness to obtain IICRC certification
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to use Microsoft Teams and smartphone-based industry software
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• WRT (Water Damage Restoration) certification
• Prior experience in restoration or construction
• Experience with PSA or similar job management platforms
