Mission Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
• Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software product designs
• Lead junior engineers in software development activities
• Develop interface definitions and perform unit and integration testing
• Participate in peer reviews and support software system integration and test
• Create comprehensive software documentation and interface with various programming languages

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Secret US Security clearance
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience with C++
• 1+ years of experience with MATLAB
• 1+ years of experience with Agile Software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Familiarity with Physics-Based Modeling software packages
• Knowledge in flight dynamics, sensors, electromagnetics, weapon models, or flight control
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools including Git, GitLab, or CMake
• Experience working with Linux and Windows environments
• Experience with MATLAB Coder or Java
