About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage payload integration across the full satellite lifecycle from proposal to on-orbit commissioning
- Serve as the primary technical customer interface for payload integration and design reviews
- Develop and negotiate payload interface control documentation (mechanical, electrical, software, power)
- Create and execute payload interface verification and validation plans
- Coordinate cross-functional integration efforts with vehicle engineering, avionics, software, and propulsion teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 2+ years of experience in the aerospace or space industry
- 2+ years of technical project management or systems engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with developing, integrating, and testing aerospace systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, software, and power interfaces
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience in the aerospace or space industry
- Direct experience working with Commercial customers
- Hands-on spacecraft integration and environmental testing experience
