Mission Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver work quality, output, and progress for the Mission Operations team
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define goals and deliverables
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures for bottlenecks
• Develop comprehensive mission plans including route optimization and risk mitigation
• Operate ASV operations, monitoring vessel performance and sensor data in real time
• Collect and analyze data from ASV missions to generate actionable insights and reports
• Conduct training sessions for DoD personnel on ASV operation and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and DoD policies

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in project coordination and leadership
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to certify as "fit for work" (swim, tread water, lift up to 75 lbs)
• Ability to work in marine environments and perform physically demanding work for up to 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, maritime studies, or equivalent
• Experience in maritime operations with autonomous or unmanned systems
• Proficiency in mission planning software, GIS tools, and maritime navigation systems
• Prior SOF experience working with the DoD or government agencies
