Mission Level Modeler

Responsibilities

• Utilize mission-level modeling and simulation to make recommendations regarding military utility, feasibility, and joint warfighter impacts
• Coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify problems and clarify management objectives
• Work as part of a collaborative contractor team alongside government and contract staff
• Organize and execute analytic studies within a multi-disciplinary team of analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Experience conducting modeling, simulation, and analyses using AFSIM
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline
• Experience with campaign-level or defense enterprise-level analysis tools
• Experience in DoD space and joint force programs
• Proficiency with Python, OptDef, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, or Java
• Experience with data transformations, visualization, and BI Tools
• Experience with SQL, MySQL, or other relational databases
• Experience with Excel VBA
