About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support internal and subcontractor teams on mission critical renovation and upgrade projects involving BMS, EPMS, mechanical, electrical, and structural scopes
- Maintain a safe working environment and champion the company safety culture
- Provide technical direction and support for trade partners and field crews in daily construction activities
- Support project management teams with planning, schedule management, coordination, and closeout
- Assist with the coordination of client submittals, site logistics plans, as-built documentation, and RFIs
- Provide regular construction and schedule updates to the project management team
- Coordinate site access, badging requests, and attend site visits with clients and subcontractors
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
Requirements
- 3-5 years of mission critical and data center construction field management experience
- Proven experience running crews in live datacenter environments
- Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, P&ID/BMS controls diagrams, and electrical drawings
- Strong knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and the ability to coach others on compliance
- Experience with BMS and EPMS systems construction, integration, and commissioning tasks
- Thorough understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural trades
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and meet strict deadlines
- Willingness to travel to project sites and pass a background check
- OSHA30 Certificate is preferred
