Mission Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal program management, engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions to ensure program performance and risk management
• Interface with external customer quality assurance to resolve non-conformances, RCCAs, and deviation/waiver requests
• Participate in design, manufacturing, test, and shipment readiness reviews
• Lead the implementation and delivery of mission and product assurance Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables
• Provide leadership to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor program issues and risks
• Participate in Material Review Board, Engineering Review Board, and Failure Review Board activities
• Track non-conformance status to ensure closure prior to program delivery
• Perform reliability, failure, or root cause analyses (RCCA) to improve design and production

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline (or Associate's with 8+ years experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in a Mission Assurance or Product Assurance role
• Experience in Quality Assurance, System Safety, Reliability Engineering, or PM&P Engineering
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or EEE
• Master's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or MBA
• 6+ years of Mission Assurance experience in the aerospace industry
• Experience with spacecraft mission lifecycles from concept to delivery
• Understanding of satellites, payloads, and ground systems
• Software quality experience
