Mission Analyst Systems Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies using mission and engagement level simulations
• Model system and mission kill chains using Government, Commercial, and/or Raytheon simulation tools
• Execute mission system simulations and analyze their results
• Participate in technical reviews with internal and external customers
• Develop and implement analytic approaches to generate supporting data for programmatic decisions
• Collaborate in a team environment to solve complex problems across mission technologies including sensors, effectors, and communications

Requirements

• Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with scientific computing environments like MATLAB
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance
• 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Linux environments
• Domain knowledge in Sensors (RADARS, EOIR), Network Communications, Weapons/Effects, Command & Control, or Resource Management
• Ability to translate military tactics into verbal, graphical, or simulated representations
• Familiarity with data analysis and statistics involving large volumes of data
• Experience with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, or Design of Experiments
• Experience providing briefs and presentations to US government customers
