Mission Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive test routes and maneuvers based on engineering test plans
• Utilize diagnostic tools like CANalyzer and Vehicle Spy for software updates and module flashing
• Identify and document software defects in Jira, including reproduction steps
• Test and validate prototype firmware and maintain instrumentation systems and sensor installations
• Monitor onboard data logging equipment and execute commands in a Linux terminal
• Oversee small shifts or groups, providing coaching and feedback to team members
• Drive test vehicles for long-distance missions and travel up to 20% for missions

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in vehicle testing, automotive technology, or prototype systems validation
• High School Diploma required; degree in Automotive Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering preferred
• Proficiency with Jira, Linux terminal, GitHub, and automotive diagnostic hardware
• Hands-on proficiency with wiring, sensor installation, and electrical system troubleshooting
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to pass a ten-panel drug screen and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fully electric vehicles (EV) and embedded software systems
• Prior experience in technical driving, fleet operations, or vehicle testing environments
• Professional motorsports or high-performance vehicle experience
• Fabrication and advanced wiring experience
• ASE Certification
