Mission Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support MA assessments through the development of the Integrated Assessment Schedule, Assessment Focus Statements, and briefings
• Coordinate with other MA offices at Major Commands (MAJCOM) and Numbered Air Force (NAF)
• Maintain Air Force MA system of record and ensure relevant TCA information is available to COCOMs, MAJCOMs, NAFs, and Wings
• Understand and execute DoW and Joint Staff Mission Assurance policy
• Support the identification, prioritization, assessment, and validation of Task Critical Assets (TCAs) supporting mission essential tasks
• Support the annual USAF asset validation process and perform mission decomposition of Air Force assets
• Participate in DoW and Joint Staff MA Working Groups, conferences, and meetings
• Develop graphical, oral, reports, briefs, and information papers in support of the MA program

Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 4 years of experience with DoW regarding critical infrastructure, readiness, or operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS approximately 25% of the time
• Valid US passport
• Understanding of risk management principles and methodologies
• Experience conducting analysis and presenting findings in written and oral formats

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Experience working on large G, J, or A staffs (MAJCOMs or NAFs)
• Experience in Force Protection, Civil Engineering, Emergency Management, Intelligence, Communications, Airfield Operations, or Cybersecurity
• Experience with Mission Assurance databases and MARMS applications
• Familiarity with Maven, Envision, or Palantir Foundry Platforms
