Mining Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of computer equipment including unpacking, installing miners, and cabling (Cat-5)
• Use hand tools to cut foam and install on racking
• Operate scissor lifts at heights up to 20 feet
• Maintain bitcoin miners through housekeeping tasks like dusting and sweeping
• Adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Identify and report potential workplace hazards

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic tools (multimeter, screwdriver, test light, etc.)
• Ability to use a pallet jack or willingness to learn
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night)
• Dexterity to squat, bend, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
• Ability to work in a mining or data center environment with high noise and varying temperatures

• Prior experience installing computer equipment
