Mining Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end installation of computer equipment, including unpacking, installing miners, and cabling (Cat-5)
• Use hand tools to cut foam and install on racking
• Operate scissor lifts at heights up to 20 feet for installation and maintenance
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and trash disposal to maintain a clean environment
• Adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required PPE

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic tools including multimeters, screwdrivers, test lights, and wire cutters
• Ability to use a pallet jack or willingness to learn
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in tight or awkward spaces
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
• Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment with exposure to heat and noise
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Prior experience installing computer equipment
