Mining Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mining operations and raw clay extraction across multiple sites to meet production requirements
• Optimize mining sequences and methods to maximize resource recovery and quality
• Ensure full compliance with Chinese mining safety regulations and environmental standards
• Manage emergency response procedures, incident investigations, and environmental protection measures
• Collaborate with geologists to develop mining plans and conduct reserve evaluations
• Lead and develop the mining team, including supervisors and field personnel
• Manage the mining operations budget and identify cost reduction opportunities
• Maintain all necessary mining licenses, permits, and regulatory documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Mineralogy, Applied Geosciences, or an equivalent field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a mining management or supervisory role
• Proven experience navigating the Chinese mining regulatory environment
• Strong command of the English language
• Proficiency in MS Office and standard office software
