Mining Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare work plans, work packages, and interpret drawings/specifications for field crews
• Perform mining and civil design work, including takeoffs and generating change orders
• Support day-to-day field operations, including material scheduling and subcontractor supervision
• Assist with estimating, project data analysis, and bid preparation

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Mining, Civil, Geological, or Mechanical Engineering (or related natural science engineering fields)
• 0-2 years of professional experience
• Ability to travel and relocate to various project sites as needed
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, ethics, and integrity
• Ability to work in diverse climates and environments, including climbing on/off equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in mining or heavy civil infrastructure projects
