Mining Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed daily and weekly mine planning and scheduling while contributing to the monthly mine plan
• Complete drill and blast designs, mine design pit changes, dumps, ramps, and other required designs
• Monitor mine plan compliance and manage production reporting
• Prepare and review drill and blast design plans, including monitoring and QAQC
• Work closely with supervisors and operations superintendents to monitor plan execution
• Contribute to the development of long-term mine plans and assist with various project work

Requirements

• Previous experience in scheduling, planning, or drill and blast design within the mining industry
• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Surveying, or an equivalent field
• Proficiency in CAD Mining Software such as Deswik, Surpac, or Vulcan
• Experience with Mine Planning Software such as Alastri or Xecute
• Valid C-class Manual Driving Licence
