Mineral Inspector

Responsibilities

• Execute field operations including sampling and inspection of minerals, fertilizers, and general cargo
• Direct assigned work teams in daily operations
• Verify and support the completion of physical and electronic service formats
• Perform tank sounding, hold inspections, and draft readings under supervision
• Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
• Manage and maintain work equipment and consumables efficiently
• Guarantee timely and accurate delivery of information to internal and external clients
• Ensure sample integrity through proper collection, registration, and transport coordination
• Monitor and control operational expenses and report non-conformities or client complaints
• Prepare inspection reports and participate in internal and external audits

Requirements

• Technologist degree in Mining, Port Administration, Systems, Logistics, or Foreign Trade
• 1 year of academic training post-secondary education
• 3 years of experience within the organization
• Technical knowledge specific to the minerals sector
