Mine Plant Machinery Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with management to set reliability improvement objectives and goals
• Complete reliability data analysis and monitor performance
• Coordinate, develop, and lead mine plant machinery equipment maintenance performance improvements
• Manage Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and reliability data analysis for mine plant machinery equipment
• Interface with OEMs on equipment reliability improvement projects
• Provide technical support including engineering design and repair vs. replace evaluations from a mechanical, cost, and reliability perspective
• Support equipment purchase specifications
• Provide shutdown support and coordinate activities with on-site contractors
• Interface with other Imperial and ExxonMobil sites as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Requirements

• Engineering Degree, preferably in Mechanical or Mining Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mine plant equipment performance and reliability
• Proven track record of successfully driving a reliability culture
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to work across operations, maintenance, and technical teams
