Millwright/Turbo Machinery Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical millwright work including disassembly, inspection, maintenance, repair, and reassembly of steam turbines and compressors
• Perform detailed inspection and documentation of findings in both paper and digital formats
• Conduct low-speed balancing of components using balance machines
• Ensure strict adherence to all Health and Safety protocols, including participating in mandatory daily safety meetings
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and contribute clear data for technical reporting

Requirements

• Red Seal Journeyman Millwright certificate or currently enrolled as a third or fourth-year apprentice
• Experience with the disassembly and rebuilding of single-stage and multi-stage steam turbine rotors and compressor rotors
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, publications, and perform accurate calculations
• Valid driver's license and a valid passport
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and perform manual mechanical duties
