Millwright

Responsibilities

• Maintain and keep equipment in working order
• Diagnose equipment problems and perform necessary repairs
• Grease and oil equipment to ensure proper function
• Patch and line spouts
• Maintain open belt conveyors, bucket elevators, and drag conveyors
• Utilize power tools, cutting, welding, and fabrication equipment
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Work in confined spaces and unload railcars as needed
• Perform cleaning tasks as required

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude (must pass an online mechanical aptitude test)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or snow
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, including call-ins for equipment breakdowns
• Effective reading, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
