Millwright

Responsibilities

• Install machinery and equipment using layout plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Dismantle, move, assemble, and install machinery using hoists, dollies, lifts, rollers, and rigging equipment
• Precisely align machinery such as shafts, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes using precision instruments
• Bolt, weld, rivet, and fasten components to foundations or supporting structures
• Operate lathes, mills, and other shop machining equipment
• Perform rigging and crane work safely and efficiently
• Assist in mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance
• Maintain awareness of construction and industrial site hazards following OSHA standards

Requirements

• Physically capable of climbing, lifting heavy objects, working from heights, and entering confined spaces
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and outdoor environments in all weather conditions
• Ability to read and write in English and understand mechanical drawings
• Basic computer and communication skills
• Regular full-time availability for a 40-hour schedule
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours as required
• Experience as a millwright, mechanic, or industrial installer is helpful
