Millwright

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose root causes of equipment issues
• Perform full diagnostics on equipment and advise management on required parts for repairs
• Physically maintain machines and equipment to ensure proper working order
• Execute the Preventive Maintenance Schedule and ensure programs are completed as assigned
• Maintain company tools and complete all required paperwork and logs before shift end
• Support daily production requirements and report product damage or nonconformities
• Work independently with minimum supervision and provide training as required
• Work safely on ladders, lifts, and scaffolds

Requirements

• Provincial Certification Red Seal 433A is required
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and manuals
• Proficiency in basic machining and welding (TIG, MIG, and Stick)
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools and industrial maintenance equipment
• Must possess your own tools and a personal toolbox
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working specifically with presses
• Knowledge of machine rigging procedures
• Holding dual tickets is considered an asset
