Millwright, Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance on assigned manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment during breakdown situations
• Perform equipment installations and modifications as required
• Repair parts within the shop
• Work effectively in a processing environment while maintaining food safety standards
• Follow all company policies and safety standards
• Collaborate with other trades groups to complete project assignments

Requirements

• Valid Millwright license
• Proven experience with process equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Experience in the food industry or with high-speed packaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Flexibility to work rotating afternoon and night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding experience
• Experience with boiler, refrigeration, and air handling systems
• Electrical experience
• PLC training and experience
