Millwright

Responsibilities

• Follow preventative maintenance procedures for inspection, repair, and replacement of equipment
• Complete routine preventative maintenance activities per company programs
• Respond to calls for timely repairs to maintain production workflows
• Learn function and operation of all production and support equipment
• Acquire working knowledge of monitoring and diagnostic equipment, blueprints, and technical data
• Operate and maintain all tooling and equipment per manufacturer specifications
• Adhere to all company safety rules, PPE requirements, and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of direct millwright experience in wood processing or similar industry
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of welding and hydraulics
• Must possess own set of tools
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts including rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform physical tasks in industrial environments
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing and background check
