About the role
Responsibilities
- Run batches of ink at proper mill settings
- Package finished product in various containers and apply labels
- Weigh-up batches following proper process order of addition
- Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely following SOPs
- Create and maintain a database of existing formulas and processing times
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts
- Act as a QC liaison by providing ink samples and recording data
- Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assist with repacks
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 months of related work experience
- Good math and basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
- Reliability for assigned shifts and flexibility for overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Mixing, mill, and repack experience
- Previous experience in the ink industry
