Mill/Mixer Operator

Responsibilities

• Run batches of ink at proper mill settings
• Package finished product in various containers and apply labels
• Clean and maintain machines to TPM Standards
• Weigh-up batches following proper process order of addition
• Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely following SOPs
• Operate Hockmeyer mill to maintain optimum OEE standards
• Create and maintain a database of existing formulas and processing times
• Operate press out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts
• Act as a QC liaison by providing ink samples and recording data
• Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3 months of related work experience
• Good math and basic computer skills
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliability and flexibility for assigned shifts and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Background in mixing, mill, or pump filter industry
• Previous experience in the ink industry
