Millist Level 3

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations including turning, boring, facing, and threading
• Load various materials such as bronze, stainless steel, and plastics up to 7” diameter
• Perform machine setup by selecting jaws, setting work, changing tools, and adjusting tool offsets
• Maintain working knowledge of G & M codes to ensure proper machine operation
• Verify product specifications using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM
• Monitor machine speeds, feeds, tool wear, and surface finish
• Complete ERP transactions, load CNC programs, and maintain required paperwork
• Participate in daily preventative maintenance, cleaning schedules, and safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in industrial manufacturing
• Proficiency in mathematics, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals, and ratios
• Ability to read and interpret technical manufacturing drawings
• Basic computer skills for ERP transactions and program loading
• Ability to multi-task and run multiple machines simultaneously
